Piano Rental Terms and Conditions – 6 MONTHS

1. The monthly rental fee of RM150 per month for the duration of the rental period.
2. The rental deposit amount varies depending on the piano model.
3. The two-way transportation fee is RM300 (for Klang Valley areas only). Outside klang valley areas will have different transport fees according to the delivery place.
4. Additional charges apply for moving the piano upstairs.
5. Payment for the deposit, full rental amount for the contract period, transportation fee, and any additional charges (if applicable) is required at the time of contract signing.
6. The deposit will be refunded at the end of the contract period, provided all terms are met.
7. Customers must notify the premises at least TWO WEEKS before the contract end date if they wish to either end or extend the contract period. If the customer opts to early termination of contract, any remaining rental fee will be IMMEDIATELY FORFEITED and the deposit will be refunded. 
8. If a customer wishes to renew the rental contract, payment for the additional rental fees should be made within the LAST WEEK of the original contract period. Failure to make this payment will result in Emusic Instrument Sdn Bhd reclaiming the piano within one month.
9. If a customer requests a piano exchange during the contract period, additional deposit and transportation fees will be incurred.
10. The customer is responsible for any damage caused to the piano while in their possession or under their control. In the event of damage to the piano, the customer must compensate the eMusic for the repair or replacement cost as determined by the Emusic Instrument Sdn Bhd. The customer must notify Emusic Instrument immediately of any damage or loss, failure to do so may result in the customer being held fully responsible. 
11. Emusic Instrument will not be held responsible for any damages or losses caused by the natural disaster such as earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, fires or other unforeseen events that are beyond our control. In the event of a natural disaster, the company will make reasonable steps to minimize disruption but will not be held liable for any inability to perform or provide goods and services. The customer agrees that the company will not be responsible for any direct or indirect losses resulting from the natural disaster or any other unforeseen events. In cases of natural disasters or other unforeseen events causing damage to the rented piano, Emusic Instrument Sdn Bhd will deduct 100% of the deposit as damage coverage.
12. Customers are entitled to ONE free tuning service, which will be performed a few days after the piano has been delivered to the customer’s place. 
13. Customers are strongly advised AGAINST using external technicians for tuning services.
14. Customers who sign the contract are STRICTLY PROHIBITED from transferring the rental agreement to family, friends, or any other parties.
15. Please note, the deposit CANNOT be applied toward monthly rental fees.
16. If a customer is unresponsive to Emusic staff’s attempts to contact them regarding the contract’s end, their deposit will be FORFEITED AFTER ONE MONTH. To avoid any confusion or complication, kindly get in touch with us as soon as possible to confirm your intentions regarding the piano. 
17. The Customer acknowledges and agrees that all pianos available for rental are secondhand units. As such, the pianos may show signs of previous use, including visible scratches and minor cosmetic wear on the exterior. The Company ensures that all rental pianos are fully inspected, and in good functional condition prior to delivery. The Customer accepts the piano’s condition as-is at the time of rental and understands that the cosmetic appearance does not impact the piano’s playability or sound quality.
